MTFCorrection

Use this module to enhance the image amplitudes of input 2D or 3D images to correct for the modulation transfer function (“MTF”) of the detector used during image acquisition.

Parameters Description
Fill filter with zeros When checked, the 2D filter function in the corners will be set to zero.
MTF data - Internal Use supplied MTF functions.

MTF data - External Use custom MTF function, which has to be supplied as input.
Input Description
Micrographs Stack of 2D or 3D images to be corrected for the MTF.
MTF two dimensional MTF data of the detector used to record the data.
Output Description
1d rot avg of power spec of output One dimensional rotational average of the power spectrum of the corrected output images.
1d rot avg of power spec of input One dimensional rotational average of the power spectrum of the input images.
Corrected MTF corrected stack of images.
Enhancement curve Factors used to scale the spatial frequencies of the input data..
